We were joined by some local residents to plant trees on this city centre
Millennium Green. The trees had been donated by Lincoln City Council as
mitigation for the removal of some mature trees near the castle, and were a
mixture of walnut, juniper, buddleia, and others.
Although there were about 70-80 trees these were fairly soon planted and we were able to move on to some clearance work, opening up an area near Alexandra Terrace designated as a ‘dog walking area’.
